Studying Chinese in Xi’an Jiaotong University, I Can Find Myself Not Just to China, But To The Whole World..
I’m still glad I chose a semester in Xi’an Jiaotong University. It is the right decision for me at this point in my life to take Confucius Scholarship to study Chinese. In here, there are many ways to enjoy the culture and language of China. Trying study Chinese is a great way to open mind and experience the culture of the this country.
My some Chinese friends show me around the campus and city and take some places which I never would have gone to otherwise.

Also here, I give big appreciates for good teaching system, good facilities for studying, and most of teachers are diciplines.
As we know, learning of Chinese has become the most difficult thing for some foreigner including me because studying Chinese character and tonal system are two kinds of basic lesson we have to know to distinguish words, a mistake in one pronunciation can potentially change the entire meaning of the sentence but I did’nt give up about that, I always expose myself to it as much as I can like practice and memorize simple phrases and characters, use an audio-based program and focus on reproducing the sounds that I hear and of course watching chinese movies and talking with chinese friends was my primary method of me.
Beside that, In our class, teacher always give support for us to keep studying and have a lot of method to make study chinese become fun and easy to understand.
Jiaotong University is also famous for its many beautiful flowering trees in mid-April and early May.

I consider Xi’an is a second home of me eventhough sometimes I could be prone to homesicknes but studying chinese in Xi’an Jiatong University give me opportunity to visit new places with other students from around the world that I meet, and I can find myself opening my eyes not just to China, but to the whole world beause we are come from in different culture and background.
So here, I not only study about Chinese, I can study most of languages and culture even from my classmate..
